What can AI help with on a lab report?
Lab reports are full of short names, units and ranges. AI is good at turning those into plain language. It can:

Common questions
Is it safe to paste lab results into ChatGPT or other AI tools?
It's much safer once your name, birthday, ID numbers and address are out. Also check the tool's settings for chat history and training. De-identification is a safeguard, not a guarantee against all disclosure.
Do I need to remove my test results too?
No. Results, units and ranges don't identify you on their own, and AI needs them to help. Remove the details that point to you.
Can AI tell me if something is wrong?
No. AI can explain what a result means in general and which ones are outside the range. Only your doctor can say what it means for you.
